Abstract:
Objective: To study the application of histamine provocation test-airway resistance measurement in preschool children’s asthma diagnosis and therapeutic efficacy.
Methods: Compare histamine provocation test-airway resistance measurement by the Italian MEFAR MB3 provocating instrument and Germen Microloop lung function instrument for the 42 cases that were diagnosed as asthmatic and the healthy group of 21 cases, and estimate the differences between the two groups and the value of the therapeutic efficacy.
Results：The comparison between the airway resistance changings to the group of asthma and the cough variant asthma and the group of healthy comparison both have the statistical significance（F=48.466 P<0.001 ）. After 3 months of treating the group of asthma, the airway resistance was effectively reduced( t=10.405 P<0.005 ).
Conclusion: Histamine provocation test-airway resistance measurement was of value in the diagnosis and treatment of preschool children with asthma.
